Pip, our classroom hamster, had vanished from his cage. We all looked around, trying to spot the little furball. Was he under a desk? Or perhaps nibbling on someone's lunch in their school bag? I peered under my chair and then I saw it—a tiny, brown shape darting towards the door! "There he goes!" I shouted, pointing. The whole class jumped up. What a commotion! We had to catch Pip before he got lost in the big school. Our mission had begun.
